AUGUST 2011: TIPS, ENEWS, AND MORE!
The recent rain seems to have given us a break from the humidity as well as some well deserved water for our lawns and gardens. This has been a great summer so far with a fairly consistent forecast of "HOT and patio weather"!
Back to School is just Around the Corner...
If you are heading away for school, bring your good oral health habits along with you. It is important to ensure a proper oral hygiene regimen between visits to our office. As a student your school's health plan may include dental coverage, remember to review the coverage offered to you.
Knowing that school will alter your schedule, now may be a good time come in for a cleaning and exam. Click here to request an appointment.
Take a moment to Look Up!
We often talk about the temperature and daytime activities in our newsletters. We wanted to take a moment to remind you that the warm evening temperatures offer up many outdoor activities as well. One activity that requires little actual exercise but you likely haven't done in years is star gazing. Looking up at the night sky always leaves us in wonder, it is peaceful and can relax you mind after a long day. Will tonight be a good night to look up at the stars? Click here.
Have a safe and healthy summer from the team at,

DIPS FOR FRIENDS
If you are having company over to take advantage of patio season, chances are you were considering serving a snack of chips and dip. While many of these are quick and easy, they are also loaded with fats, salt, sugar and preservatives. Undoubtedly, people will eat too much and complain about feeling guilty. Is this any way to treat a friend?
Why not surprise your guests with something delicious and secretly nutritious? Here are three dips that will leave your friends talking, and while they may have seconds, they will be left with energy rather than guilt.
